SAN CARLOS Born in Pennsylvania, the U.S. Navy brought Al to San Diego in 1968, where he met his wife Jean. They were married 45 years.

Al loved golf, music, ice cream, family and friends.

He died of congestive heart failure in his sleep at Kaiser Hospital. He will be missed by many.
