Fitzgerald, S. Dean SAN DIEGO -- Dean passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family on May 9, 2014, after a brief battle with cancer.

He served in the Korean War.

His career started as a San Diego police officer and lead to his retirement as a Captain of the Marshal's office. He is survived by his wife, Margarita, his four children, his sister, Myra, and many grand and great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Friday, May 16th, at 10:30 a.m. at the Reception Center - The Cliffs, 4950 Old Cliffs Road, San Diego, CA 92120.
