GALE L. DUNBAR

March 30, 1924-Sept. 17, 2004

Gale L. Dunbar, 80, of San Diego died Friday. He was born in Adrian, Mo., and was a retired police officer with the San Diego Police Department.

He served in the Marine Corps during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Alberta; daughters, Gail Burris of La Paz, Mexico, and Karon Robare of Salem, Ore.; sons, John Dunbar of Santee and Alex Piasecki of Everton, Wash.; brother, John Dunbar of Raytown, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
