James D. Filley passed away in Madison Alabama on November 3, 2024.
James is survived by his son James S. Filley, his wife Xueping Liu- Filley, his granddaughter Caroline Filley and his brother Robert Filley and Cameron Filley.
James was born on May 15, 1957 to Vernon and Marilyn Filley.
James served the San Diego Police Department for 35 years, retiring as a lieuenant in 2014. During his time with SDPD Jim worked many details including SWAT,
Juvenile Crimes, Economic Crimes, and the beach.
Jim spent his retirment years traveling the globe, playing golf and spending time with his family.
