Retired Lieutenant James Hall, age 66, passed away on December 14, 2001.

He was appointed as an officer with the San Diego Police Department on October 11, 1957, and attained the rank of lieutenant on January 28, 1972. 

He retired on June 15, 1973. 

Jim Hall was survived by his wife Jackie, son Jason, two grandchildren and brother Tom Hall, former captain with the San Diego Police Department.

A memorial service was held on Thursday, December 20, 2001, at 2:00 PM, at the First Baptist Church, located 41960 Big Bear Blvd, Big Bear, California.
