Deputy Director Arthur is a retired SDPD Detective Sergeant having served from 1978 until 2008.

He is the son of Eugene M. Arthur, a former SDPD detective who served from 1942-1967.

In his role as Deputy Director, Mr. Arthur manages the volunteer program (administration and training) and many of the day to day operations at the museum.
