Lawrence D. Laughlin, 76, of North Park, died April 21 in a hospital. Cremation was planned by Lewis Colonial-Benbough Mortuary, with inurnment in Cypress View Mausoleum. No services are scheduled.

Mr. Laughlin was a native and lifelong resident of the county and was a San Diego Police Department fingerprint technician for 30 years, retiring in 1970.

He had served in the Army and was a member of the East San Diego Masonic Lodge, the San Diego Historical Society and the Utah Street Waffle Society.
