My Life Story
It is with great sadness the family of Matthew John Enderlin, husband and best friend of Kristen Lorrene Enderlin, announce his unexpected passing on September 22, 2018.
Matthew was born on October 21, 1977, in San Diego, California to his parents Darrell and Karen Enderlin. As an adult, he worked at Outback Steak House where he met his wife, Kristen. He also attended massage therapy school followed by the San Diego Police Academy. After graduating from the San Diego Police Academy, he protected and served the San Diego community from 2007 to 2018, during which he famously delivered a baby in the backseat of a car in a post office parking lot. After a successful career with San Diego Police Department, Matthew relocated his family to Meridian, Idaho where he embarked on the next phase of his life and joined the Meridian Police Department.
Matthew and Kristen were married on June 21, 2008. They were blessed with a son, Logan Matthew and a daughter, Riley Lynn.
Matthew is lovingly remembered by his wife, Kristen; children, Logan and Riley; his parents, Karen and Darrell; his sister, Jennifer, his grandparents, his nieces and nephews, as well as extended family and dear friends.
Matthew touched many lives and will remain a hero to all who knew him.
A funeral service was held at 3:00 PM on Friday, September 28, 2018, at Eagle Christian Church, 100 Short Ln, Eagle, Idaho.
