ASSISTANT CHIEF OF POLICE MIKE HOLDEN
SERVING SINCE 1993
After graduating from the University of Southern California in 1990, Assistant Chief Mike Holden started his career in law enforcement as a Deputy Sheriff with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in 1991. 

He joined the San Diego Police Department in 1993 and has proudly served the City of San Diego for 31 years. 

Assistant Chief Holden has worked a wide range of assignments that include Community Relations, Community Policing, Sex Crimes, Vice, Homicide, and Internal Affairs. 

He and his wife, enjoy spending time with their daughter, son in-law and two granddaughters who live locally.
