Father of Officer Julie Mills (ret), Father in law of Lieutenant Jerry Mills (ret) and grandfather of Officer Randy Mills.

Aug. 27, 1940-June 15, 2004 Peter O. Solomonsen, 63, of Dulzura died June 15. He was born in San Diego and was a detective for the San Diego Police Department. He served on the board of governors for Thunderboats Unlimited.

Survivors include his wife, Deanna; daughters, Traci Iliff of Santee and Julie Mills of Santee; brother, John of Warner Springs; and six grandchildren.
