OFFICER QUENTIN R. "ROGER" DePUY

November 23, 1935 to December 30, 2011 Roger was born and raised in San Diego. He was the youngest of five children.

After graduating from high school, he joined the Air Force, serving four years in the military police. He later joined the San Diego Police Department. After several years he transferred to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department where he retired.

There he met his wife, Mary Ann, and enjoyed 38 years of marriage. They enjoyed traveling and most of all being with their children and grandchildren.

Roger will be remembered for his incredible devotion and commitment to his family. His strength, love, sense of humor and smile will be dearly missed by all.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann, his siblings William "Bill", John, Joan, and Marge; five children, Pete DePuy, Tim DePuy, Roger DePuy, Angelique Wetzel and Desiree Yednak; and his six grandchildren, Ryan, Melissa, Jack, Zachary, Thomas and Luke.

He passed away after a long and valiant fight with prostate cancer.
