Ron Seden passed on March 12, 2025 at 12:30 hours. He was 89 years old. Ron died peacefully in hospice from age related causes.  

Ron came on the department after the Army in 1958 and retired in 1993 as an Investigations II Lieutenant, under Captain Richard Toneck, Forgery-Auto Theft.  

Ron was a charter member of the Investigative Lieutenants Union.

Ron is survived by his daughter Sandy Abalos (husband Cons), grandson Alexander and granddaughter Laura; and Son David (wife Sherrie), all in San Diego he was predeceased last year by his wife Lori, whom he married in 1973.
