Randy Lee Ewain, 49, of Forest City died Friday morning in Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale.
Born in Hancock, N.Y., son of the late Walter and Marian Rockefeller Ewain, he was educated in Hancock schools. He was a veteran of the Marine Corps and was employed at the ABC Market, Montrose.
Surviving are his fianceé, Dawn Gerichten; a stepson, Trent Razderk; and a daughter, Randi Leigh Ewain, all of Forest City; five brothers, Gary Ewain and wife, Sylvia, Starrucca; James Ewain and wife Brenda, Bennetsville, N.Y.; Lawrence Ewain, Ellenton, Fla.; Kevin Ewain and wife, Marian, Hancock; and Joseph Ewain and wife, Margaret, Lake Como; five sisters, Barbara Campbell and husband, Harvey; and Debra Ewain, all of Aiken, S.C.; Donna Price and husband, Gene, Thompson; his twin sister, Patty Papocchia and husband, Bernie, Mayfield; and Joan Mead and husband, Freddie, Poyntelle; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
