ROBERTSON, RONALD, 68, passed away on December 1, 2002, due to complications from Alzheimer's disease.

Ron was born in Boston, Mass., on September 4, 1934. He and his family moved to San Diego when he was two years old.

Ron was well known at Point Loma High School for his outstanding athletic abilities. He especially excelled at basketball and was a recipient of the Breitbard Athlete Of The Year Award. He was inducted into the San Diego Hall of Champions. Ron's love of sports continued throughout his life playing golf, enjoying the ocean at South Mission Beach with his grandchildren. He was an active member of OMBAC, for 25 years. During his participation with "Over the Line" he won 5 championship rings and numerous trophies.

Ron will always be remembered for his generosity and kindness and love of children. Most of all his sense of humor will never be forgotten.

Ron was a Police Officer with both the San Diego and La Mesa Police Departments for 20 years.

Ron will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. Ron is survived by his wife Jenny, daughters Debbie and Kathy, his stepchildren Ruth and Jim. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one and 3/4 great-grandchildren. His brothers, Bill and Art and his sisters, Barbara, Elizabeth and Suzie and numerous nieces and nephews.
