Stephen John Laursen, age 75, of San Diego, California passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2024.
Affectionally referred to as "Spanky" by his friends, Steve had served as a Los Angeles police officer prior to embarking on a career with the San Diego Police Department.
During his SDPD career he worked as a patrol officer and detective. As a sergeant, he worked patrol and supervised investigators as a detective sergeant.
