Retired Police Detective Tyrone Crosby passed away on July 18, 2011.  He was hired on October 21, 1982, and retired on December 31, 2008.

He is survived by daughters, Tiesha and Crystal, son, Tyrone Jr., parents Gladys Hollins and John Crosby, brothers, William and Trevor, sister Costansia and four grandchildren.

Interment was held Monday, August 1, 2011, at 1100 hours, at Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Nobel Drive, San Diego 92122
