Jack Knish began his law enforcement career as a police officer in the Chicago area in 1979.
He relocated to San Diego in 1985.
As a member of the San Diego Police Department he has worked a variety of assignments including patrol, the detective bureau and as a supervisor.
In 2011 Jack became the president of the San Diego Shriners law enforcement wing and will oversaw the restoration of the oldest SDPD artifact still in existence - a 1926 Studebaker paddy wagon owned by the shrine.
