EDWARDS -- Lyle E., 68, of Bloomington, IL and former 32 year resident of San Diego, CA died 10-13-96.

He married Ruth E. Seright Oct. 29, 1949 at Decatur, IL, she died Nov. 29, 1992.

Mr. Edwards was a Illinois State Trooper at District 6 Pontiac, Illinois ten years. He was a detective in the forgery division of the San Diego, CA Police Department until he retired.

He served in the U.S. Navy in WWII.

Survived by daughter Linda Siedle of Vicksburg, MS, 2 sisters Alta M. Van Horn of Bloomington, IL and Barbara Schorr of San Diego, 2 brothers Jack and Guy Edwards both of Bloomington, IL, 2 grandsons James Lyle Siedle of the 1st Armored Division Military Police deployed in Bosnia and Thomas Conrad Siedle of Vicksburg, MS, son-in-law J ames H. Siedle, several nieces and nephews.
