Russell George Glasco Jr., 63, of San Diego died Tuesday.

He was born in Virginia. 

Mr. Glasco was a retired San Diego police officer. 

He had served in the Coast Guard, and was a member of the Police Officers Association and the Retired Police and Firefighters Association.

Survivors include his wife, Joan; daughters, Susan Glasco of San Diego and Leslie Robinson of Utah; son, David Glasco of San Diego; stepdaughters, Joann Larsen of Temecula and Michele Boozer of Alpine; stepsons, Michael and John Walter of La Mesa; mother, Daisy Glasco of San Diego; sister, Kay Thomas of San Diego; brother, William Glasco of El Cajon; and nine grandchildren.
